Hivedeck is a website builder software project designed to help no-code professionals to create websites effortlessly. As the Project and Product Manager, I oversaw the day-to-day design and development activities, introduced new features, managed testing processes, and led both the design and development teams.

Project Timeline
We successfully launched the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) within 7 months of my joining the team.
Challenges Faced
One of the major challenges we encountered was scope creep, with frequent changes in requirements. To address this, I implemented a change documentation process conducted a thorough business analysis, and helped stakeholders know the value of proposed changes before their implementation.
Approach
Adopting an Agile project management approach, we utilized Jira to track and monitor project progress. Within this framework, we implemented Scrum methodology, running two-week sprints to maintain focus and flexibility.
Solutions Implemented
In addition to the content review process, we also implemented automated testing procedures to ensure the stability and reliability of the platform. This allowed us to identify and address potential issues early in the development cycle, reducing the likelihood of bugs impacting user experience.
Results and Achievements
The project yielded significant results, including increased signups and acquiring over 100 users within the first-month post-launch. Additionally, the platform's performance optimization efforts resulted in a 30% decrease in page load times, leading to improved user satisfaction and retention rates. Furthermore, our proactive approach to customer feedback integration led to the implementation of several highly requested features, resulting in a 20% increase in user engagement metrics.
Lessons Learned
A key takeaway from this project was the importance of ensuring that the MVP remains true to its purpose – as a minimum viable product. It's crucial to get to market quickly to gather feedback and iterate, rather than striving for perfection from the outset.
